About Me
Born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, I’ve had an affinity for creativity for as long as I can remember. From making my own comics to watching countless animated shows and films, my cup overflowed with inspiration and ideas ready to be put to paper. Along this creative journey, I discovered an understated appreciation for logos, as well as the role that they play in establishing the identity and public perception of a brand – this is a concept that I would later understand as a facet of graphic design. Little did I know how integral design would be to my career!
I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Graphic Design from Oral Roberts University in 2015 and a Master’s in Art and Technology from the University of Oklahoma in 2023. I have worked in a number of industries including education, nonprofit, and technology. As I took the steps to built my career, I found it difficult to label myself as a working professional. I was a graphic designer – and I was an illustrator, an animator, and a video editor. In light of this, I split my portfolio into two categories:
GRAPHIC (for still image based design) and MOTION (for video and animated based design).
